Last Call to donate to Holiday Collection for Families in Need

As many of you know GVNA has chosen Person-Centered Housing Option (PCHO) as the organization to receive our support this year. So far we have had an overwhelming response from our members at events for requests of tangible donations.  Thank you so very much to all of you who have participated, the gratitude of the PCHO staff is humbling. 

When delivering the latest donations I was asked by Chuck and Nick, the founders of PCHO, if we might be interested in sponsoring a family for the holidays.   This was presented at our most recent board meeting and we unanimously decided to adopt all five of the families that PCHO has in permanent housing.  Supporting these families aligns with our goals of promoting health and well-being within our community as well as the spirit of the upcoming holidays season.  For those of you who wish to contribute, will be accepting gift cards to Wegmans or Walmart as well as monetary donations through December 15th.  Donations can be made by mail:  GVNA, PO Box 92298, Rochester, NY 14692

These families consist of:

A single mother with four children ages 19, 18, 15 and 12.

A single mother with six children ages 18, 15, 10, 4, 3, and 2.

A single mother with three children ages 15, 10, and 5.

A single mother with two children and a young grandchild ages 21, 17, and 2.

One set of parents with a daughter age 11.

Thank you so much again for all of your support in our efforts to promote the areas homeless population.
