In just the last couple days, a bipartisan group of lawmakers introduced the No Surprises Act, surprise billing legislation which includes language around provider nondiscrimination. This would ensure patients have access to quality care regardless of where they live by requiring insurers to treat providers fairly and prohibiting discrimination based on provider type. This would be a huge win for nurses and providers.
